Margaret Briem served in the Army. She served in the Headquarters company of a Military Intelligence battalion.
Margaret Briem, along with her husband Rob, adopted 9 special needs children from the foster care system. Including biological children, they have 14 children.
Margaret Briem is a retired small business owner. She ran a coaching company for almost 20 years. She helped her clients grow their small businesses.
Margaret Briem was asked by a regional foster parent training director to write a basic parenting training program. That director left her position before the program was completed. Margaret, being the resourceful person she is, decided not to waste the effort and turned the program into a basic parenting book. It was published in 2011.
After winning a US Department of Education Complaint for the violation of the civil rights of special needs students against a local school district that was very highly rated, Margaret Briem became a homeschooling mom. She had homeschooled before off and on due to noticing educational gaps in her children. This is the classroom in her home.
Margaret Briem currently serves as a Sunday School teacher for children in her local church.
